Brakeaway analyzes bike infrastructure, traffic levels, road types, elevation, and intersections to calculate a 0-100 safety score.
Is the data accurate?
Brakeaway uses real OpenStreetMap data. Accuracy depends on how well your area is mapped. Always combine with local knowledge.
What apps does Brakeaway work with?
You can connect Strava directly, or export GPX from Strava, Komoot, Garmin, MapMyRide, and other cycling apps.
Can I share my results?
Yes! Click "Share Route" to generate a shareable link for your analyzed route.
Do you track my location?
No. We don't track rides or personal location data. We only analyze routes you explicitly upload.
