How to Upload Routes
From Strava
- Click "Connect Strava" on the main page
- Authorize Brakeaway to access your Strava account
- Select the activity you want to analyze
- Brakeaway will analyze and display results

From GPX File
- Click "Choose GPX File" on the main page
- Select a GPX file from your computer
- Click "Run analysis"
- Results will display immediately

Draw a Route
- Click "Click to Draw Route"
- Click on the map to create waypoints
- Click "Done" when finished
- Brakeaway will analyze your route

Exporting Routes from Popular Apps
Strava
- Navigate to the activity you want to export
- Click the menu icon (⋯) on the right side
- Select "Export as GPX"
- Save the file to your computer
Komoot
- Open your planned route or recorded tour
- Click "Share" or "Export"
- Choose "GPX" format
- Save the file
Garmin Connect
- Go to Activities and select your activity
- Click the gear icon (⚙)
- Select "Export to GPX"
- Save to your device
Understanding Your Results
- Safety Score: 0-100 rating of overall route safety
